The Ferno 65 Scoop EXL Extender Kit is designed for use with the Ferno Scoop EXL Stretcher in order to expand the width to accommodate bariatric patients with possible spinal injuries. With the expanded width, emergency responders can still lift a patient using the “scoop” stretcher and transport them to an emergency vehicle. The kit also includes restraints extenders for better accommodation or larger patients, and a storage pouch to store them all when not in use. A user manual is included to clarify how to implement the extenders.
